"Highlight of the Fesetival" - Peats Ridge 2010

ARTHAUS begins with a mockumentry about the band we are about to witness, a once famous but now forgotten European electronic music group with a penitent for conceptual dance, technological trickery and new wave French cinema.

Clauter, Hans Michael and Pierre next burst onto stage in a flurry of Kraftwerk inspired synthesis; smoke and reactive rock n roll lighting.

As the concert progresses dancer Hans Michael clashes with videographer Pierre over the true meaning of art, and whether economic rationalism can be reconciled with creativity.

Punctuated with political satire, comedy songs with titles such as “Subprime Sublime” (about the Global Financial Crisis) and modern choreography, ARTHAUS is a hilarious, high concept musical comedy experience.

"We are existentialists from Europe. Welcome. We would like to invite you into our space. A space of creativity, choreography, music, dance and digitalism. Welcome: and choreography. Peering from the dress circle we create humour as commentary to fight nihilism. Let us construct art from your laughter."
